The authorized shares are the least important. As you have spent the last few months pointing out to us, they can vote to increase the A/S at anytime. But, they will only do such a thing as the O/S approaches the A/S. The very fact that the O/S is retreating from the A/S shows less of a need to increase the A/S. You are stating that the maximum possible number of shares is more important than the actual number of shares--I tend to disagree.
