The ongoing silence from the company right now, along with more insider selling(albeit not many shares, but TO sold another 10,000 at .445 in Dec)....is not a good sign....Particularly with the Olympics ready to go in a few weeks....One has to wonder, if ALDA will be able to fulfill their contract with VANOC- They are supposed to supply 70000 units, plus pay a fee of between $3-15 million...It seems possible that they may not have been able to raise enough money to meet the obligations....It seems, from Canadian posters, that there has been a shortage of product on the shelves across Canada- (possibly they had to scale back on supplying retail, to meet Vanoc contract?)....I guess we will know soon if they will meet their obligations.....With H1N1 epidemic subsiding, the marketing opportunity(with or without olympics) is not as great, but there will always be a need for hand sanitizer, so the company could still have life going forward... They can still develop their therapeutic products as well- the key will be the ability to raise money, and income...
