The Occidental is a surface mine and is permitted already. This means the mine which is a historic producer can also be put into production with some effort and work.

If they produce on site then they need crushers, mill and full refining facilities and infrastructure.

If they outsource it down the road to Nevada or Arizona then the game can change. In any case they have evaluated, acquired and it is time for these guys to develop and produce the plan in 2010.

Bloomberg said $2000 gold is coming in 2010 so if these guys can produce $450 gold that would be a net of $1550 gold per oz.

With M&A activity very active in Nevada in around Jack Creek and Newmont pits the spot price in 2010 will most likely light up that area which will only be a positive. jack Creek will never mine as it looks to be too close to what appears to be a huge Newmont project long term.
