Currently, the contentment of shareholders shouldn't be their concern. Their concern should be the same as every other successful management team's: (1) to ensure the company is profitable; (2) to conduct business in a professional and ethical manner; and (3) to drive and grow business. In achieving those objectives, they have fidicuary duties such as the duty of care, the duty of loyalty, the duty of obedience, etc. Within that operating realm, they do not owe you a duty or obligation to ensure that you are satisfied within their press releases or that the pps is high enough for you to be profitable.

Let's hope they never care about whether you're happy with their PR stance, but instead let's hope they are concerned with the bottomline, dollars and cents. If they take care of that, then everything else will take care of itself.
