That is a tried and true concept for sure. Warren does know what he's talking about, that's hard to argue. However, his philosophy does not really apply here in pinkie land. You know that. There are too many exciting opportunities out here. Yes, some are risky, but the reward you will get as opposed to owning some blue chips for years far outweighs the risk sometimes. We are looking for potential moneymaking companies with new and exciting products, or improvements on existing products. It's done everday. I was in Dell in the 80's and 90's when it split over and over. It was beautiful. Most of my friends sold and retired rich before the dotcom bust. It can happen here too. Gl.
