Investors holding the PowerShares Global Water Portfolio ETF (PIO - commentary - Trade Now) may see a boost in the near future as Singapore's largest water treatment firm, Hyflux, announced that it expects to see annual profit growth of 20% over the next five years. The forecasted growth is expected to stem from increased government spending aimed at treating the increasingly scarce global water supply. Hyflux currently accounts for 5% of PIO's total portfolio.
