You bet...and excuse me for saying NDA (new drug application), as this is not a drug, but a technology; in any case, they will be filing for FDA approval to use this technology in 2010, especially if they get the funding from Chinese partners.
I should also note that my lab collaborates with a proteomics lab in the "omics" fields (kind of an up-and-coming field with gen"omics", prote"omics", and metabol"omics"). You can essentially screen for thousands of genes, proteins, or metabolites within a few hours in hundreds of samples, noting differences among the samples with screening software telling you which proteins or metabolites are elevated or suppressed from various drug treatments or diseases. Literally unexplainable how important this technology is to the research and diagnostics fields. We will no longer have to "guess" if a person has Alzheimer's or Parkinson's or cancer or heart disease as each disease has a specific proteomic and metabolic "profile" that we will be able to DETECT and TREAT EARLY ON, enhancing the treatment and prevention processes. Just my opinion, but revolutionary field(s) here, and PWRM is in the right place at the right time to to take a nice bite out of the initial profits to be made with this technology. More will soon follow, trust me on this. These fields get government funding in the blink of an eye. They could literally write jibberish on a grant application with the word proteomics or metabolomics somewhere on the application and still get the funds. It is unreal and have experienced it myself (well, I do not write the jibberish for the extra filler, but beside the point).
If you want a great speculative portfolio spread for 2010, load up on PWRM, MHTX, and ADXS in the teens; wait one year, and check these three again (yeah right like anyone could resist checking every day as I do)=$$$$$$$ I am not guaranteeing anything, but speaking what my research and beliefs spit out of my mouth. PWRM and MHTX should move soon (one month-ish), with ADXS later with interim Phase II results. Just keep an eye on them if you do not want to invest as they will be good teachers for the wave of the bio future. The only thing missing is a speculative stem cell stock....any ideas? I have a few, but am still doing research on them..I have done TONS of research on the above and am already fully confident in the investments I have made..I think you should all do the same ASAP to avoid being the one looking at how much money you COULD have made a few months from now.
