ETWC (marketcap: $10mil) at $0.88 by The Fast One: 1Jun, buyout by Merge amounting to about $1.70 per share
FRPT (marketcap: $408mil ) at $5.98 by Capgains
GVHR (marketcap: $37mil) at $1.51 by TheFastOne: 5 Mar 09: Gevity announces proposed merger with TriNet; TriNet would acquire all common stock of GVHR in all-cash transaction valued at $4/share (GVHR)
ORS (marketcap: $10mil) at $0.35 by timhyma
WEL (marketcap $90mil) at $1.19 by capgains
CGLD ended the year at .89 (high was $1.07) for a 134% gain
ETWC was bought out at $1.70 for a 93% gain
FRPT ended the year at $5.21 (high was $10.03) for a 13% loss
GVHR was bought out at $4 for a 165% gain
ORS ended the year at .57 (high was $1.24) for a 50% gain
WEL ended the year at 1.65 (high was 1.81) for a 38% gain
So, some good picks, and the one that closed down, could have been a huge winner if you sold near the 52-week high.
