What I find interesting is that the Clippers share their season in the Staples Centre with the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL.Philip Anschutz owns the hockey team as well as the Staples Centre.He also owns AEG one of the biggest live event companies in the world.If at the very least the coach has his ear for advice or perhaps more who knows.It may be a big stretch but I will bet his connections played a role in his being named to the board.JMO.
