I shot a High Standard bull barrel in competition in the early Sixties, but sold it when I quit competing. Fine gun, no complaints at all. The military should have used them for initial training, they would have convinced a lot of people that they could learn to fire semi-autos. Do I miss my High Standard? Of course. But then I miss every gun I ever sold. It was the right thing to do at the time. I hope it went to someone who really appreciated it and competed with it. Walk
