wakl....I agree. Its not the base that makes this special....but the turbine itself. The website shows a decent drawings of an install, proposing an eight foot concrete footer, with four bolts. Worse case scenario, they need to make the anchor bolts imbed deeper, and maybe larger. They say that the unit can withstand 100 mph winds, my coworker said the prototype design that was installed, (in perry?) had a bent mast after a period of time. I think this would be easily remedied.
