Yesterday I added a feature (at a user's suggestion - blame him <g>) that auto-refreshes the Board page the same way you can have auto-refreshing of the Favorites page.

I had it use the same settings that're used for the Favorites page, but it turned out that's not really workable. Where a 15-second refresh rate might work on Favorites, it's too quick for Board.

This morning I added a new field to the bottom of the My Settings page that you can use to change the auto-refresh behavior of the Board pages. The default is zero (off).

If anyone wants to be able to "camp" on a board page rather than the Favorites page, and wants it to auto-refresh, click our Tools menu item, then My Settings, go to the last field, and select any non-zero value.

People usually use this feature (on Favorites and presumably on Board) so they can go do other things and when they come back, they've got the latest posts available without clicking. Also, quite a few people use it to keep themselves logged in without checking the "Keep me logged in" box on the homepage.

Anyway, new menu option for Board auto-refresh and the default is for it to be off.

I believe the default settings for Favorites auto-refresh are On and 15 seconds.
