Everybody is going to short it, it will be like a herd. Keep in mind the stock was already shorted due to the Shelf Registration. Today's news caught many shorts by surprise and some may have come home to margin calls while others may have averaged up their short.
I do believe there will be a sell off, however, there are a lot of nervous shorts after today who are going to be fighting each other to cover. Just go read the Yahoo forums lol.. its obvious the intent.
The denial by the CFO was a given, what was he going to say? "Yes, we won a contract with Google, we are so excited!" A leak like that gets the SEC breathing down your neck. Did you notice how many newsletters carried the news? My god the whole market knows lol.
18M in volume.. that was not retail jumping on a rumor.. something else is afoot.
Tomorrow will be interesting.. very interesting. I'm looking forward to the confusion and insanity.
