As far as airline security is concerned... IMO

Identa would do well to become a back up to these full body scanners. This is the only current system in place I know that could have picked up explosives sewn into the terrorists underwear. This is how the Detroit Delta flight bomber alluded detection while boarding in Lagos and reboarding in Amsterdam. All jokes aside ALERT would be excellent back-up for these body scanning machines much like those two companies now looking at Identa's product for back-up.

If you stop to think how many people go through these scanners and how often the machine may think it has a terrorist suspect it quickly becomes evident how many ALERT kits these machines will need to verify what they found. Currently Britain uses these body scanners for every passenger on every international flight. I see no reason why the US won't be doing the same it's essential for adequate screening.

"Despite the short period since the show, some of the agencies have already started to purchase Identa's Alert Explosive Detectors for using them in the field.

"During the show we also made strong connections with two large international companies which are manufacturing electronic devices to detect explosives. Those companies are looking to provide an inexpensive and reliable chemical explosive kit as a backup for the electronic devices.

"The electronic devices have false positives and are very expensive.

"Identa's Alert explosive kit is inexpensive, with immediate results, reliable, easy to use and can be a very good backup for the electronic device.

Anyway the chips fall. There is no better substitute than YOUR OWN DD
Including mine...good luck!
