The concept of trader vs (lt) investor might help everyone get along a little better.

I don't post much because I'm not in the same league as you, CSP, Jo Teng, Pappy, etc. and I don't want to add to the clutter on this great board and make guys like you not post.

I really value the posts here from both camps.

For instance, on CKGT, I'm long and pretty much in (unless I come up with some scratch fast on Monday if you're right and I can get some more) but now that I know your mindset, your view is fine. I get it; I'm just not there, trading wise. It looks like we both can wind up doing just fine here. I hope I have some shares in 2011 when CKGT gets to close the reserve and bring all that non-cash "expense" back to the bottom line EPS! You know that'll be a sweet pay day!

BUT, lets say I was on the fence, looking to get in (as either a trader or an investor)....I'd be waiting to pull the trigger until Monday morning.

So, anyway, my idea is, maybe, folks should simply to preface their ideas as trading or investor in situations like this. Usually, this is not necessary, but nutty accounting rules can really stir the pot.

I've been to Yahoo and IV, and it's all going bad. I think you guys are great and hope you continue this fine board. If you think this post is BS, sorry, but don't worry, I don't post much!

Happy New Year and best of luck to all in 2010.
