I lived in The Woodlands when I was based in TX. There are no low-rent districts in the area. The Woodlands is the nicest area in North Houston. Many of the larger corporations are moving their HQ's to the area as are many sports figures and celebrities. My point being... you will not find a rundown store front posing as a lab. While I can't predict what will happen, I will suppose that if a scam was the order of the day it would certainly be counterproductive to the scam artist to set up a legitimate research facilities in the highest rent district in northern Houston.
