INDIAN HARBOR BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - Health Sciences Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HESG) would like to announce that it has entered into a letter of intent with The Healing Center of Montana to purchase two operating licenses for medical marijuana collectives in Park County, Montana and Lake County, Montana. This transaction is contingent with standard due diligence and anticipated to finalize before the end of the year.
The Healing Center of Montana, owned and operated by Mike Smith, is the largest medical marijuana operation in the State of Montana and also has a presence in Colorado. Mike Smith has been in the Montana medical marijuana business since the state went legal.

Local company looks into providing medical marijuana

Seeing an economic opportunity in medical marijuana, a health consulting company based in Indian Harbour Beach believes there is money to be made as several states and the federal government ease rules on the medicinal plant.
"We are approaching all 13 states where it's legal right now and working through the legalities of it," said Thomas Gaffney, president and CEO of Health Sciences Group Inc. "We are certainly preparing for the day it goes nationwide, and I'm sure it will."
The company is studying laws in states where it's legal to grow and dispense marijuana for medical use and is making plans to get a piece of the action by growing, transporting and selling marijuana to those with a prescription.
Though most state rules require nonprofit status for these operations, the company could make money by providing services to the dispensaries.
"It's wide open," Gaffney said. "The first people in the door make the money in it. It's a multimillion dollar business."

(Pink Sheets:HESG) would like to announce that it has retained its attorney Robert Young to investigate the necessary steps to legally obtain licensing care giving and growing of Medical Marijuana in the State of California. One of which is forming a non-profit organization.
In addition, the Company has been in preliminary negotiations with a dispensary in Billings, Montana. Montana happens to be the only state where a care giver can profit.
Thomas Gaffney, President and CEO of Health Sciences Group, Inc., states, "Let me be clear. Number one we are in pursuit of getting into the legal medical marijuana business in either or all of California, Colorado and Montana. Health Sciences Quest - Medical Marijuana
INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla., Nov. 17, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Health Sciences Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HESG) would like to announce that it has retained its attorney Robert Young to investigate the necessary steps to legally obtain licensing care giving and growing of Medical Marijuana in the State of California. One of which is forming a non-profit organization.
In addition, the Company has been in preliminary negotiations with a dispensary in Billings, Montana. Montana happens to be the only state where a care giver can profit.
Thomas Gaffney, President and CEO of Health Sciences Group, Inc., states, "Let me be clear. Number one we are in pursuit of getting into the legal medical marijuana business in either or all of California, Colorado and Montana. Montana happens to be the only state in the country at the time whereby care givers can profit from their operations. However, the company can derive profits from providing management and accounting agreements for dispensaries in any of the states where medical marijuana is legal. Furthermore, we believe that getting into the business on the ground floor will give us a leg up when the different states legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes altogether. There are currently 14 states in total; we are investigating legalities. From a corporate stance we are considering forming a subsidiary that we might eventually spin-off. However this is all preliminary and just strategizing in nature."
