This is just my opinion on the progression of DLAD.
The company previously appeared to be a on trick pony show with the DealerAdvance automotive CRM software system. They sold it and developed a plan to move forward. Humphries took the cash and invested it in other companies, Sports Page Weekly and Spectrum Broadcasting. I’m not so sure Sports Page was a good deal, it appears to be a small entity with a weak web site, but Humphries must have seen something in it. On the other hand, Spectrum Broadcasting is a great buy. They have and up coming presents in their industry. I view it as a “Hale-Merry” pass.
The point is…Humphries could have shut the business down and then us “Bag-Holders” would end up with nothing. He choose to continue in a new direction in a beaten up industry…Radio. Radio industry has been oversold and Humphries spotted this trend as we spot oversold Small Caps. Radio isn’t going anywhere soon. There will be a place for radio for some time and I believe Humphries is going to pull off a winner over the next two years with Spectrum.
DLAD need to move on. The old technology wasn’t paying the bills and you can only dilute share for so long to pay those bills. Many question Humphries motives, but I think this is the best way to keep DLAD viable. Changing the name means nothing, it’s just a name.
I hope that helps.
