Something does not add up here. Remember that there are normally very complex share structure in China, especially for foreign listed companies. The Shanghai-traded Yasheng does not automatically equal to US-traded Yasheng. If Shanghai's Yasheng contains the same listed entity as US listed Yasheng, that is, they have the same revenue and profits, then it easily qualifies for listing in one of the major stock exchanges such as NASDAQ/Amex (if not NYSE.)

Sometime a company may list different part of the business in different exchanges. Shanghai listed company is called Gansu Yasheng, whereas US pinkie is called Yasheng group.

I am trying to find the connections between those two.
