Do you know if anyone has studied the impact of misinformation or fraud has had on chart movement?
WayneC777 - I was like you just watching the companies. But the more I heard that the day traders were scumbags and broke, I heard the same about longs! The charts WILL NOT tell you if a company is bad or not. The charts only show historical data, THATS IT. But from the history we can see a "Possible Future" ... That is why they call them "INDICATORS" ... They only indicate what can be next.

I'm curious if the traditional chart indicators are affected by a fraudulent management
WayneC777 - No management has NOTHING to do with the MM's. They can work close and or in tune with each other, but CEO's CAN NOT" control the PPS. Only US and the MM's.

. What factors in technical analysis is able to detect a corrupt company?

For example, has anyone studied the charts of Enron or WorldCom while they were coming apart to see if the charts had it figured out. Were there signals other than the fundamental guys that said something was wrong with the company?
WayneC777 - Charts are just and indication of the future derived from its History ... PERIOD Its like an engine that is smoking while driving. The smoke is not the problem, its an indication of the real problem(s). There could be a few reason why its smoking.

Even though there are folks like you that look only at chart and MM movement, there are at least as many like me that are more focused on fundamentals. How do you technically reconcile the effect of those of us using fundamental analysis to make buy and sell decisions on chart movement?
WayneC777 - There is nor reconciliation for your lost money. There is only Learning of the charts and study the pattern of the MM's. Then you will start to trade, and then regaining your money that was lost. You can ALWAYS make your money back.

Listen guys ... in order to concur the beast, you MUST learn its ways and weaknesses. Todays’ investing is NO LONGER the way it was years ago. It "IS" a whole new ballgame
