Duffer-I honestly think you are seeing issues here where there aren't issues.

I have many friends in the securites business , some at a very high level. A lot went to college and did post grad too in maths etc. Some left high school went straight into the business and did very well. College isn't a pre requisite to beeing a successful broker or investment banker- a quick mind and a flair for seeing the deal are far more important. Some of the most disatrous people in the securities business are over qualified ( academically) and have no grasp of real business.

Having said that I have no idea if MBB went to college and honestly I don't care.
