Without an atmosphere there is a lot of solar energy in space but it would require tesla technology to get it to earth...

Seriously, there are some advances in transmitting energy through the air without wires... I just don't know how far along that is.

If it goes like the early TESLA experiments, the whole earth could be transformed into a lighting ball. That might look pretty from far away but LOL, last I heard Thomas Edison is still hating on Tesla from the grave.

Seems the pair zapped a few non targets with the first big Tesla tower some hundred plus years back so we've exclusively had overhead or underground wires for our electric infrastructures ever since.

I did see where one company was making appliances that ran on Tesla tech recently! No Batteries or cords necessary or wiring in the building beyond the base unit!

Expensive and experimental now but who knows? could be a life changing future for all once the cost comes down and it's implemented on a commercial scale via infrastructure.

LOL, I hope those guys know what they are doing regardless!
