When Intel gave AMD 1.5 BILLION DOLLARS; it opened itself up to all kinds of future accusations of wrong doing, liability, and extortion (of course).
It will always be perceived as an admission of guilt.

In my opinion it was a disastrous, foolish and short sighted decision.

Giving away 1.5 BILLION DOLLARS to it's inferior whining rival was a dreadful mistake. I wonder if the Intel's chief council quit in disgust because of this.

Now AMD is on steroids, while Intel slips.

Will this again result in another decade of the phenomena of a bank CD outperforming the supposedly greatest Tech company on earth, which has virtually a monopoly an exclusive (irreplaceable) product?

Look at Western digital, who competes with DOZENS of competitors, making hard drives (hardly an exclusive arena compared to CPUs).

WHY is WDC's performance as an investment so much better?
I don't understand.

Elmer says "Intel is no longer a growth company".
Ironically, it is situated in one of the largest growth sectors....Technology.
So why did this happen ?
