Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are tremendously effective in preventing the spread of the seasonal flu, H1N1, colds and other viral- and bacterial-based diseases; and sales in the segment are through the roof. The differentiator between the Health Channel product and others in the market is its trademark environmentally friendly 'green' packaging, its six hour effectiveness time period and its low cost.
