My thanks to everyone who has posted about our furry and feathered friends. Special thanks to e-ore. Also to Train, tyler, and Pete.
Not long ago my house burned to the ground (Gail knows the story). I had raised parrots for quite a number of years. They all perished in that fire. If it weren,t for one special bird i would not be alive today. Nor would BooBoo ("ToT") have lived a full and loving life. I don,t really know how to express my feelings about a companion that has been with me 24/7 the way BooBoo has been. The little guy rode with me in my semi trucks, fending off lot lizards and the occasional drug dealer.In all the years, he made quite a few stories to tell. The folks at the Iams pet food factories loved him almost as much as me. The little guy will surely be missed. I know it is written that animals have no soul. I, for one, believe that BooBoo wil be waiting at the gates for me, like he always has when he had to stay home during one of my trips.
Again, thanks to all of you for the support.The little dog was not really a pet. He was a friend.
