Indonesian coal: rising demand from China and India

- Indonesia has high quality coal
- Indonesia produces 230 Million tonnes, 190 M exported
- Indonesia has coal fired power stations that will use up 20 Million by 2011

IEA Predicts
- Global demand for coal would increase by 1.9% per year until 2015 - more than any fossil fuel except natural gas

UBS predicts
- Global coal exports going to china will double to 10% by 2012
- Global coal exports to India will go from 5% to 8%.

- Only copenhagen aggreemnt can make any significance to this
