You have a very large range of investor types in this board. Most of us are 'nimble' in that if something happens that changes our investment thesis, we get out of a stock within hours of the event... But many of us like having long-term positions (I am one of those).
I was surprised, just like you, to hear a number of people had sold NEP. I think they did so because of overall market/oil fears, not anything to do with the company.
Personally I bought another 25% position yesterday at around $5.8, since I was impressed with how it was holding up given the oil weakness. Guess I got lucky today.
I have not sold one share of NEP yet. Its not really a trading position for me, especially 3 weeks before the tax year ends.
