It is my understanding that we cannot ping it up that far. The MM would have to move the ask up in order for it to go through. Pennies are limit buys. If you ask for 5,000 shares at .0027 that means that you want 5,000 share but not to exceed the .0027 price. It will be filled at whatever the ask is at the current time (.0026).

Pinging up simply is hitting the ask again with a low amount. Someone pings this down with a 5,000 sell at .0025. You, or I, ping it back up with a 5,000 buy at .0026. There is no way that we can get it higher by asking more for it. Otherwise, lets ping this up to .0035 or higher and make some serious green candles.
