Kurup, they do hold many shares, That gives them the power to sell shares that don't even exisit. If they get caught with an unexpected run and massive MoMo, like news this second would do, they can always go back and fill those air shares with shares held in the House account.
When I placed an order with walmart, Scottrade may fill my order from their vault of shares. Thus never hitting the tape. I get my shares and we are all happy. I don't know how long or cheap Scottread bought those. Its Why sometimes if you want a big position you are told to call the company first.
Scockbrokers were told to hussle a number of stocks to all their customers. They usualy were okay picks, but what was going on was, the broker was filling your orders from house shares not from the open market. Companies would get the big houses great deals to push their shares and the good customers got first crack. Online has changed so much of that. They still do it. Not in penny land but big board stuff. Man I had Bear Sterns, Robinson Humphries, Goldman accounts. I think of the $$ commissions I paid. Anyone paying to trade like that now, need a visit for a cat-scan. Anyone remeber the only way to get new, was the wall street. 2 day old news? Wow, insane looking back.
Not sure why I went down this road, HO HUM day so far. Its almost an out right in your face, because they know where this is headed.
Once this flys all these days worth of posting vanish. Chalk it up to just company till we get something solid and take controll from the MM. It will be brief, so enjoy it!
