It seems NEP was mentioned as one of 4 featured stocks on Wednesday by Motley Fool in their CAPs evaluation system, whatever that is? Explains some of the strength the past two days. Below is my post from Tuesday on the VMC Junior Energy Board:

Correct Cl, and this may just be the start of an uptrend that is overdue. We need some nice increased Reserve reports for Jacky and Beatrice to really set this one off. Hopefully there will be nothing but good news for the next 2+ months.

And NEP is just aching to break out. Two days in a row it powers above 6 to just fall back near the close. A nice earnings report next quarter reflecting the recent acquisition should be the impetus for the stock price to knock on the double digit door in 2010.
