All the rumormongering seemed to be leading up to today so I figured I'd sell half on the double and look to cheaper shares before the new year if they didn't announce the shaft at least.
I'm not crazy about trading when I see BIG sells at the bid and SMALL buys at the ask.
In January it will be FIVE YEARS that all these MAJORS have supposedly been sitting across the table from a "pear farmer" NEGOTIATING.
Folks seem to think that's pretty standard procedure for JV deals, but I don't really think so.
Now the "shaft"...that's a different story. They can actually DO that and it would be an excellent promotional play for a few months. BUT, considering the "holiday season" and how it slows down pretty much everything in Chile it would seem it might be better to hold off till the new year on that.
