The Iranian governement is really very bad. But change there has to come from within. The mass of people oppose the current government which is quite paranoid and has been brutally repressing the students who are leading the change. They do this sometimes by murdering them.

Iran has a government that practices terror tactics against its own people. It wants to cement its grasp of power in that country at any cost. Nuclear weapons are part of that strategy.
So they will delay and stall while continuing their efforts.

The Muslims that are in control of the country do not represent the mass of people. The Persians are not Arabs. They actually had Zoroasterian religion and worshiped fire.

The US should provide support to dissident groups within the country to help them overthrow this ruling elite of very bad Moslems.

Israel will take care of Irans nuclear capability.
