"but then it runs into problem with the following "construct", if God is so powerful, can he create a stone so heavy he cannot carry it? If Yes, then there are "bounds" to his power, he cannot carry that specific stone, if the answer is no, then of course, he is not "all powerful" enough... some people will go so far to term this a proof that an "all powerful deity" is a self contradictory concept"

Zeev...

I find it hard to believe that a man with your knowledge of the Torah would actually put any stock in the construct you proposed -- a simplistic and silly old canard that is meaningless when set against the God of Scripture. I suspect that even your secular side does not buy into it. The only reason to "make a stone so heavy that even He cannot carry it" would be an act of ego, or frivolously showing off.

God is not only all powerful, He completely perfect in all His ways, utterly holy, perfectly just, totally sinless. That means that He cannot do anything that goes against His own nature. He cannot sin, He cannot feel unrighteous anger, impure thoughts, jealously, greed, unrighteous hatred, or lust. He is without limits, but if He went against his own nature, He would no longer be perfect, holy, or sinless.
