why would management decide to spend all this cash and effort when business as usual was good enough?

Your question above was my first research point. Believe it or not any pump and dump situation can be smelled from miles away if you take the time.

These guys at LNGT are not of said type. If anyone took the time they would notice the experience of their scientists as well as the connections company has made over the years. Now-with US being years ahead of anyone else in the world in Laser technology-we will begin to notice a larger number of commercial and retail uses of Laser technology. This is a function of timing and technology. I believe the Laser bubble is getting near. I have done many hours of research on as many laser companies as I can to see what's out there and how investors can benefit. Currently the name of the game is Miniaturization of existing technology b/c in most cases that is what is getting in the way of using it in certain commercial applications. As LNGT holders we are proud owners of Laser Dazer, the first real minitured Laser technology. If you dive into Laser, you'll notice upside is unreal. Another good example is the water jet systems you would see in heavy machinary shops or factories. Now that technology is old technology b/c smaller and smaller units are being manufactured. They are less expensive, require less maintainance and require less energy. Laser is the place to be IMO.

So to go back to your comments. These guys are hard working scientists who have put on their business hat and are aiming for the sky. Our job as investors is to figure out if they accomplish their task or not. If anyone is still crying the pump and dump BS on this board then lets just assume they don't know anything OR they want in cheap. Eitherway, I'll be holding this stock until somehow another company makes a better Laser Dazer. Don't forget the other technologies which can be huge. I like TRT
