From what I'm looking at, average cost for normal extraction is about $8 a barrel, but that includes the costs for exploration and equipment which PMDP has either already done or already owns.

Even so, they are looking at costs per barrel around $30 tops. Multiply that by 30 million barrels for $900,000,000 in production costs.

So, at today's oil prices around $73 a barrel, you can see $2 billion in barrel sells, $900 million in costs.

$1,100,000,000 in profits divided by however the LOI agreement shakes out.
