I don't have to tell you my meaning about Q, you already know. But your conclusion is the same as mine. There is something wrong, very wrong.
About the CC, IMHO very little was said we didn't know already. But one thing came out AGAIN: Frank's credibility is ZERO. That's why many people stay away from QBID, and with reason IMHO.
The 2 most important things for me: 1) staying on the pinks!!! Just a few weeks ago, in some interview, he CLEARLY stated they were working to get off the pinks, and it would take 6 months to max. 1 year. Now he's telling us they will stay on the pinks for a long time. And for me there's just ONE reason, the reason you give in your post: THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO MAKE THEIR FINANCIALS PUBLIC, PERIOD!!!!
2) we're in negotiations with all mayor cariers!!! Read jcradio's transcript from a few days ago, about the chat Frank did in February 2002(I think), he was saying the EXACT same thing, and in 4 months we're 4 years later!!
After reading newair's post on how a small fish RCN is in the biggest gay area, my conclusion is this: the reason they can't get major carriers to sign up, will probably be their lack of financiel transparancy. Just a few months from now, LOGO will start, and together with HereTV and Pride, they will become the BIG players in this gay TV market, while QBID will still exist, but will play a minor role in this whole game....
This is just IMVHO, and I really wished it would/had turned out different. I still think the potentiel was there, the timing was good(July-September), but for some reasing(IMHO managment) they let it slip away, and it's slipping away further and further as each weeks passes along.....sad, but there have been many little companies before them, and many will follow......people with great ideas, who couldn't get them executed.......
IMHO, the pps will be dead for a few weeks(months?), so I'm going back to my trading. As it turned out with QBID, I've spent way too much time here, and missed too many good plays. I'm not complaining though, I've met some very nice people here, and sometimes I had a very good laugh :))
PS, I'll keep watching QBID from time to time, to see how it all rolls out.....
Best of luck to all of you, I still hope you'll make it big :)
