I also believe that God did create each component of the universe by fiat
and i reckon that you'll take that belief to your grave, but the resurrection and beyond will be of great benefit in your new appreciation of the patience of God in how He does business in time and space
Once one accepts that there is an omnipotent God with the power to create from nothing the entire universe and all that is in it
who says i don't?........i'm not doubting what God CAN do, i'm just recognizing what God DOES do
it is then no problem to accept that He could have just as easily accomplished the feat in six days (or six seconds) and there is no need for "hundreds of billions of years."
then logically, why have any time at all in the process.......just create a totally perfected universe, or "heaven on earth" as it's been said.......skip the sin, skip the conflict, skip all the frustration that comes with the human experience, and just create instant peace on earth......wouldn't that be the most reasonable conclusion considering that "your heavenly Father is perfect."?
Adam and Eve.....as an embryo or as a fully grown adult.....Why would the universe not be created in just the same manner
not a good analogy, considering that there is not another example of that in human history.......all other humans, including the Son of God, have participated in the embryonic stage of human experience
