I dunno..I think with all the caveats attached to some of these loans (no variable APR's, etc.) MAYBE people will have learned their lesson. You can't get an 'unvarified income' loan any more, and a lot of the bullshit that the banks themselves pulled has hopefully come to an end.

As much as I blame stupid people for buying shit they can't afford, I blame the crack dealer banks for giving money to people they KNOW they shouldn't have. It works both ways..And the banks have HOPEFULLY learned their lesson as they sit holding the bag on craploads of foreclosed houses.

but they probably haven't ;)
