We have two brains competing for control of our lives. The rational thinking brain can be over powered by our emotional brain. I am mostly a left brained just the facts mam type. The major downfalls in my life came when my emotional brain was on overload. When I was working hard on a task, the lefties were meeting behind my back to disparage me and my work. I was transferred in one of those back room deals. Since I could not get the facts my emotional brain made up things and I ended up in a mental hospital. My brain did heal and my rational brain did return. But I will never trust a lefty again in this life time. The experience did make me stronger and I now watch my emotional brain like a hawk. Primates are not my nature monogomous. Therefore do not expect most people to remain faithful. The centers for food intake and sex are both in the same general area of the brain. People that get out of balance in those areas live a tragic life. Religion can help a lot of people with the balance between the two brains. It can provide a bed rock that does not change daily. Even though I am not religious now, lessons learned early in life about honesty, integrity and hard work came from church. When my kids were young they would do things without consulting me. They always made the wrong choice when they came to a fork in the road. Now they always call me BEFORE they make a major decision. We discuss which part of the brain they are using since all decisions do have unintended consequences. Lefties can be highly intelligent but they are prone to make decisions based on feelings. Since they have no bed rock beliefs they often turn to drugs and self destructive behavior. My son just informed me that a lefty in charge of a big division was charged with stealing for leftist causes. A homosexual that was abusing illegals sexually had previously been given officer of the year. Again they were feeling proud that they were politically correct and failed in their judgement.
