A switch from your former holdings to China micro caps is a drastic move. Make sure you know what you are doing. You need to do a LOT of research and constantly keep up to date. This will not be a carefree portfolio.

You may want to start your research with the 10 Amigos for 2010. The ECSC board contains many posts on this topic, even with a nice summary. Those and other board favorites warrant further investigation. Go read the SEC filings, also comments from this board, articles at sites like Seeking Alpha, GeoInvesting and so on.

It is probably best to keep this up for about 6 months before you even take the plunge.
