Hey mr. mata. I too am excited that regents for recaf are now being manufactured by one of our licensees. Inverness/biosite surely is committed and investing significant resources. Part of any fda approval process requires the certification of the manufacturing facilities. Bocx always said that the licensees were the ones responsible.

I think you’re right about abbott. In 12/07, things looked bleak for their diagnostics business w/the fallout of demand and the previous summer’s failure to sell to GE. (GE’S initial 8 billion offer sure says a lot about GE management—way to go). Why wouldn’t abbott let inverness’ newly acquired biosite unit perform the complex effort to get recaf regents manufactured—especially after their problems with the fda.

Inverness and abbott have such a shared history of working together. if recaf didn’t work, Abbott would have returned it to bocx and not maintained a license.

Thanks mr. mata for exposing the scamming MANIPILATING/shorting entity but most importantly doing pertinent dew diligence.

Thanks for your HONESTY!
