I had one of those a few years back, and think I get to write off $3K each year max as an on going deduction. If you have winners through out the year, donate those dogs for full face you paid for em, or sell and buy back the last trading day of the year to offset the gains from the others. You get the loss on paper and the shares, Win Win sort of.
Take a look at QASP, my other play and they too have an FDA like play going on, but wores its a Dec15 "at the latest" news to be released. I've been in it for months and rode out all those ugly days. Its a good chance you will make money on it. Might help that need to correct the past.
The MMs are a very smart group of individuals and masters at what they do.Just remember this is the cream of the crop that gets to this level. Not only from the manipulation of trades and money, but from the human emotion side. They know how investors feel on a daily basises. They use it to their agdvantage. But when it comes to the FDA they have no more early warning than you or I. Maybe if a news leak and Dean has told some of his buddies. They are looking for that. The FDA puts them at a disadvantage that I just love. They do know that the FDA is like a pass in football. 3 things can happen and two of them are bad. They hold a massive short position on that alone and will short directly after a thumbs up from the FDA. I have a stink'n feeling when IMGG gets the FDA approval it will get the snot shorted out of every share traded. After the orgasim, the momemtum will die down till Dean can show he can sell and deliver the product. The short position is tremendous till revenuse are relised.
FDA are great plays, but its the after the party that can realy send these up. My biggest concern is how Dean is set up to crank these out and what he has to do to generate sales. He has stated that IMGG has not and will not take any sales orders till he gets the FDA approval. That concerns me big time. Now if Dean hits us with a second PR after the FDA approval that he has partnered with a GE or Toshiba to build, market and sale these things, we will be looking at double digiots for some long periods of time.
If QASP get no news Mon and Tuesday, and IMGG has nothing but maybe a good inter day rise, I'm swinging all my IMGG funds into QASP for the definite run Thursday, friday, and fo sure Monday will be insane.
I would never ride an FDA play on margine or bet the farm on one.
No one knows what the FDA will do. I could use some more time here, but the FDA doesn't care. The MM know what is going on in our minds every day we have no news. If this lingers on another few weeks, we may get back down below a dollar a few times. Great time to get some play shares.
