As Dan said, we expend an extraordinary amount of resources toward detecting and preventing multiple account use, especially overlapping usage intended to manipulate the dialog. I'm confident that we do far more than any other site of this kind.

That said, minimizing manipulation of the dialog and stopping those trying to evade administrative sanctions are the only reason we do so. We could not care less about the alleged motives of the violators, including but not limited to the so-called naked short selling cabal.

Or how is this for a novel idea, no anonymity.

Feel free to start a site and try that. It will be a most interesting exercise in futility.
