A brief response though I am confident that you will receive a reply from Dan Keeney soon. When I asked Dan if Afren was going to be the operator he responded, as I posted, that Excel would be the operator and ERHC had only purchased working interests.

Excel is supposedly an exploration and production oil company and hopefully they can handle a small, shallow water block such as OML 46.

As posted yesterday evening, the wife of the ex-Admiral who owns the company, was an executive with Shell in Nigeria and knows about the oil business.

I expect more details about Excel's operations will come out in the future.
