The way the numbers are handled on Favorites might need to become user-definable.

As it is right now, there are only 3 events that can trigger resetting of that number:

1. You click the Clear link.
2. You click the number link that takes you to unread messages.
3. You read the last message on the board in one-at-a-time mode.

It's done this way mainly so that if you click a link in another message and it takes you to a message in a board that's in your Favorites list, it doesn't mess with the number of unread messages in it.
