Vanguard or Spiders: Which Sector ETF is Best?

I want to apply a sector rotation strategy using ETFs. Can anyone confirm that Vanguard ETFs, being lower in cost, will generate a greater long-term profit when compared to the higher cost Spider ETFs? Assuming the same sector is bought and the same amount is invested.

Advise? Opinions?
