No need to apologize, you didn't say anything that I was offended by. I understand that everyone has their own beliefs that they must stand by. That's why wars are fought. It's the ultimate stand for your belief.
I also know that my words cannot convince anyone of anything, nor do I want to convince people of anything.
If people do not make their own choice with their own mind, then they will never be sure about what they're doing.
My job as a christian is to present the Word of God and He does the rest with it. If people do not receive what is said, then that is between them and God. Jesus spoke to many people and the majority didn't believe Him. If the Living God Himself cannot be received, who am I to think that I can convince people that don't agree?
The Word of God is something that must be believed by faith 100%. We cannot pick and choose which parts of the Word we like or don't like.
You are right. Every religion says that their way is the right way and has the same basic principles. One of the major differences between Christianity and the rest is that the bible has prophecied things thousands of years in advance and they have come true. No other religion has done that. And Judaism is the base of Christianity. We believe in the same God. Only difference is that the Jews don't believe Christ was the messiah. I consider myself a Jew because the bible says that when you become a Christian, you are grafted into the Jewish family.
Read Romans 11 and it explains all of that.
I enjoy sharing these things because thats what God requires of me. So your harshest criticism and words are welcome and I will not be offended at all. I know people are skeptical because of the hypocritical ways of many people and churches. It's very sad what has happened to the church.
The bible even says that in the last days, the church will fall away from God.
2 Thess 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a FALLING away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
The only thing I can see is that we are in the end times and it won't be long before Christ returns.
