Bebida Beverages Joins Forces With Piggly Wiggly in Alabama
MOORESVILLE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/24/09 -- (PINKSHEETS: BBDA) Bebida Beverages is proud to announce that an arrangement has been made with the Alabama division of Piggly Wiggly grocery stores. The grocery store chain that has been in existence since 1916 will now make all of the Bebida Beverages products available to their 300 store market spanning several states. The Piggly Wiggly chain of grocery stores that will be serviced include stores in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
"We are excited about the addition of Piggly Wiggly to our portfolio of retail outlets for the Bebida brands," said CEO Brian Weber. "Things are really starting to fall into place with all of our brands, and all of our marketing efforts through racing and other tools have been materializing nicely into distribution deals, which will reflect in sales and shareholder value."
There is also an added bonus with the addition of these new retail outlets, which has become quite an event for the Piggly Wiggly franchise. In January there is a food show that is held in Birmingham, Alabama on the 12th and 13th, where purchasers for stores can sample and collect information on products that are available for distribution in the family of Piggly Wiggly stores. All of the Bebida brands, including Koma Unwind, will have a major presence at this show, with multiple sales representatives who have attended the event in years past with some great results.
