RSI indicates strength relative to the last, typically, 14 trading days. An RSI that gets above 70 is an indication that the trend is well above average in strength. When a stock crosses into that level, it's got significant momentum that has a propensity to snowball. It's indicative of big, fast moves and could last for days.
