As a military member and someone who grew up on the streets of the Bronx NY, I can say that you are 100% right in the fact that this technology can potentially save a lot of lives...as long as it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
On the other side, I am also a born again Christian and I know what bible prophecy says about the mark of the beast.
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his MARK in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
REVELATION 20
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his MARK upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
So, to me, I'd rather lose my natural life or have my children lose their natural life rather than their eternal life. I will put my faith in the saving power of God before the saving technology of man.
The eternal life is much more important than the natural one. We will be in eternity forever and on this earth for only a little while.
MATTHEW 16
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own SOUL? or what shall a man give in exchange for his SOUL?
Now, I think we are a ways away from the evil implications of this chip. But, make no mistake about it... the antichrist WILL use this technology for his purpose.
Notice that in Revelation 20, it says that people will be beheaded for refusing to take the mark. There has not been one bible prophecy yet that hasn't been fulfilled in its time.
Putting spiritual things aside for the moment, What if terrorists, child rapists, criminals, etc, learn to hack into the technology and target specific individuals to find them?
Then it becomes counterproductive.
The fact of the matter is, aside from this chip, whether it's the mark of the beast or not, I don't know. I believe the same technology will be used for the mark of the beast, but this particular chip is not it (in my opinion).
What is more important is are you born again in Christ? If the answer is no, then whether you receive the chip or not, your eternal life is in jeopardy.
Take a look at these scriptures and let the Word of God speak to you for itself.
You have 2 choices... to ignore it and go on with your life as you have been. Or to listen to what it says and change your life forever.
It's exactly as was depicted in the Matrix. You can take the blue pill and wake up and keep living your life as is, or you can take the red pill and know the truth of God.
John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of God.
Matt 6:24 No man can serve two MASTERS: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matt 12:30 He that is not with me is AGAINST me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
That means that there is no middle road you can take. Either you are on God's side or on the side of His enemy. If you are on your own side, that's not Gods side. Fact is we are born in the battle. We are all born automatically on the wrong side because of the sin of Adam. We have to consciously make a choice to change sides and request to be a free agent and sign on God's team. If we don't, we will remain on the wrong team (even if you only ride the bench, you're still on the wrong team) Just because you're not a satan worshipper doesn't mean you're not on his side.
